This stone was found in Gunpowder River, MD. July 2020. It has been polished with 300, 600, 1200, and jewelers rouge grits (last pic). This piece is also magnetic.

This is also a stone from Gunpowder River, MD. July 2020. It is another sedimentary stone, fairly soft with rusty red dots sprinkled through it. This stone has been polished (right). I can't remember if the dots were like the nodules on the rock above where you could really feel them stick out before I polished this. The picture isn't very good, but the before pic (Left) you can see the dots. They look almost like rust. Could be teeny tiny garnets. It's hard to see, they are so small.
